    Video Game Review – Fallout 3 – Sony Playstation 3, X-box 360

Fallout 3 Fallout 3 is a Post-Apocalyptic based FPS (First Person Shooter). You begin the games as a newborn in Vault 101, a safe haven for many generations since the start of an atomic war. You then leap forward 2 years as a toddler and learn the basic controls, you also choose your character strengths in a baby book. Next you are a 10 year old, and your birthday gift is a BB gun which you use to learn how to shoot. You also recieve a BOY device which gives you all the details you could possibly need, such as mapped areas, inventory, a radio, status etc… Finally you are a 16 year old and need to take the GOAT test which after an honest completion gives you a character result.

After all that, the game finally begins with you leaving vault 101 into the wastelands in search of your father, who left the vault under mysterious circumstances. As you begin to explore, you will discover a vast amount of locations bit by bit. You can pick up items and trade them for bottle caps (the currency of Fallout 3). You use caps to buy medical supplies, weapons and other services.

I played this game for 27 hours non stop and I’m pretty sure I’m not even 50% into it yet.

My personal rating of Fallout 3 is 4/5, it’s a fantastic game but loses a point for not having a multiplayer option.
