Fallout 3 is a Post-Apocalyptic based FPS (First Person Shooter). You begin the games as a newborn in Vault 101, a safe haven for many generations since the start of an atomic war. You then leap forward 2 years as a toddler and learn the basic controls, you also choose your character strengths in a baby book. Next you are a 10 year old, and your birthday gift is a BB gun which you use to learn how to shoot. You also recieve a BOY device which gives you all the details you could possibly need, such as mapped areas, inventory, a radio, status etc… Finally you are a 16 year old and need to take the GOAT test which after an honest completion gives you a character result.
Call of Duty – World at War, also known as Call of Duty 5, is a World War two based FPS (First Person Shooter). In the single player campaign, you take the rolls of two separate soldiers fighting in two different regions. As Miller you fight for the Allies against the Japanese, and as Dimitri you fight for the Russians against the Nazis. The campaign is gripping and with the Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) voice as your commanding officer, you have the motivation to push on.
This video game also has the multiplayer option. Play the campaign mode with friends at home or online. You can also have split screen death matches or choose from a variety of online game modes against friends or strangers.

My personal rating of Call of Duty 5 is 4/5, it’s a fantastic game but does not rival number 4, the Modern Warfare edition.
After being a skeptic on the Nintendo Wii due to the fact of it’s inferior graphics to market rivals – X-box 360 and PS3, I am now 100% converted.
My two favourite games of all time are both Nintendo Wii games.
First Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2009, which I wrote about in a previous post, and Mario Kart Wii.
The latter is my personal favourite, it offers simple game play and a huge selection of courses – but best of all it offers and online multiplayer option where you can play against family and friends.
As a dedicated follower of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game franchise since 2003 on the Playstation 2, I feel I know enough to give a decent opinion.
Since the 2003 version, the following one was, at the time, the best in the series for me. 2005 and onwards they seemed to lose the magic of the game and the controls and game play went downhill right up until 2008.
Now however, with the help of the Wii, the game has been perfected for the 2009 version. Instead of sitting on the couch and gaining weight while playing. You now have to stand up with the wii remote and take realistic swings at the ball. And just like in the real game of golf, if you don’t keep the remote straight you can end up slicing the shot and landing in the rough or even out of bounds.
